desktop calendar

I am looking for a simple calendar that will display on the desktop. Do not need reminders or schedulers, etc. Thanks.

Re: desktop calendar

Assuming that you're using Windows XP or similar:
1. right-click on the clock on the Windows toolbar;
2. select "Adjust Date/Time"
Bingo!
(see screenshot)

If at first you do succeed, you've probably missed something.

Check out the Yahoo! Widgets - Get Weather, Photos, Calendar, and More on Your Mac or Windows Desktop. There is a very large library of stuff available.

Perhaps the most popular Desktop Calendar can be found here: Rainy's Rainlender.

Not only is Railender completely customizable, the variety of Rainlender "skins" is endless. You can get more "skins" for free at such sites as www.wincustomize.com and www.deviantart.com, along with many other such websites.

Re: desktop calendar

You might want to look at the version of Calendar Magic. Probably overkill by any stretch of the imagination, but it is !

The Webshots Desktop software contains a setting for a simple, sizeable, transparent calender that displays in the upper right corner of the desktop.

Thanks Doc, I presume this means that Webshots Desktop is a safe download - no spyware, etc???

Here's another one, maybe not exactly what you are looking for, bu one of my favorites. http://www.buzzys.net/tclock.html. "TClock" Actually, it's mainly a customization utility for the clock on th system tray, but also includes a small calendar that will pop up if you click on the time (configurable).
