    OKtoclose (2003)

I'm getting a 'Compile error: variable not defined' error on a form which should close when another one opens. The line Oktoclose is highlighted in the code. How can I find out where it should be defined. I've copied these forms from another database, and they worked ok.

Open the database that works OK.
Activate the Visual Basic Editor and search the entire project for OKToClose. You're looking for a line like

    Public OKToClose As Boolean

or something similar (details might be slightly different). This should give you an idea.

Please can you paste some of the code? We can't help much without it. Is Oktoclose meant to be a function, a procedure (sub) or a variable? If it's a variable, where (and how) you declare it depends on which bits of the database need to refer to it.

If at first you do succeed, you've probably missed something.
