    Report Ordering (2000)

Hi, have a group header that returns only three items, band C, intermdediate and foundation, however I need the order to show as Foundation/Inter/Band C. Descending or ascending obviously doesn't help, can I get around this?

    Thanks Darren

    Re: Report Ordering (2000)

One solution is to enter the following expression in the Sorting/Grouping window and sort on that (ascending)

    =IIf([Field]="Foundation,1,IIf([Field]="Intermediate",2,3))

where Field is the name of the field containing Band C etc.

Another solution is to create a table with 2 columns:

    <table border=1><td align=center>Sort</td><td align=center>Text</td><td align=right>1</td><td>Foundation</td><td align=right>2</td><td>Intermediate</td><td align=right>3</td><td>Band C</td></table>
then create a query based on your table/query and the new one, joined on the appropriate fields. Use this query as record source for the report, and sort on the Sort field.
