    And a happy new year to you too!

    First, check that you have set the Can Shrink property of the new Position text box to Yes.
    Next, make sure that there is no vertical overlap between the text boxes. It's OK if they just touch, but if there is even the tiniest overlap, the Can Shrink property will not work any more.

    Dear Hans,

    Wonderful - fixed

    By chance all the boxes did say can shrink. However I had pushed the boxes too close together and that was all it was.

    Sorry to bother you with such a simple matter - but as you are there I'm going to make a post that is possibly just a little more taxing!
