Spoofed email

When I receive an email notice of a response to my posting (Access) on a board I receive the following email message from our corporate system.
Is there a way around this?

The following message has not been delivered:

From: tom.weller.b@bayer.com
To: tom.weller.b@bayer.com
Subject: Reply to your post: Re: A-Z Button - Make Selection Top of View (A97 S

This is due to automatic rules on Bayer's mail gateway that have determined that the
message appears to have been spoofed.

A spoofed message means that the Sender's address of this message is associated
with a local Bayer domain and the message did not originate from an
internal Bayer mail server.

The Reply To: and From: addresses are set to the be the same as the recipient to prevent the deluge we would otherwise get from the countless Loungers who mistakenly believe they can literally reply to a post by replying to the email <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

Is it possible for you to set up an intermediate email address that could forward replies on to you at bayer.com?

Did you have an Out-of-office assistant on at the time of receipt? (And did you actually receive the message from the Lounge, or was that blocked?)

Emails from the Lounge normally come from "LoungeAdmin" or similar. But if you reply to one of those messages (manually or automatically), your reply is bounced back to you. Therefore I suspect that the undelivered message was a copy of your out-of-office message, and so of little consequence.

I posted from the office on the WOPR board.
Then I received the response "spoofed message" on my email at the office.
The message that I received was pasted into the beginning of this thread.
I did not reply to the email, I went to the Longue on the Internet to see the reply to my posting.
