    Apostrophe problem (Word 2000)

If I type a word with an apostrophe in it - its automatically adding an o to the end of the word - eg can'to, didn'to etc.

I have checked in autocorrect and cant find anything. I have also checked in the custom dictionary in the list of words added but its not there either.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Does this only happen with <code>'t</code> or also with other characters after the apostrophe? For example, if you type <code>Carolyn's</code>, does it become <code>Carolyn'so</code> ?

It only happened with 't. I have had another look in autocorrect and found that t should be replaced with to - I have deleted this and it seems to be working ok.

    Thanks for your help

Yes, that would have been my next suggestion to look for. Glad it's solved.
