    Time

    I have got this down to a fine art:

    Leave house: 0825hrs

    Walk to station: 23 minutes
    Purchase newspaper: 1 minute
    Walk to platform: 30secs

    Train arrives: 8.50hrs

    The whole journey from house to station platform is under 25 minutes and occurs on a regular basis and I can set my clock to it.....but.....

    Some weeks the whole journey takes 22 minutes...why?

    My real answer was

    <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #FFFF00; font-weight: bold">
    I have three main roads to cross and without all the traffic from all the school runs on the roads I am able to cross the roads quicker
    </span hide>

    oh yes.....nearly forgot...have a [choccy bar] and a [environmentally friendly walk to work] this week

    <img src=/S/yum.gif border=0 alt=yum width=15 height=15> mmm, chocolate
    <img src=/S/yikes.gif border=0 alt=yikes width=15 height=15> that's a long walk. (I have two workplaces; one on the other side of my city and one in a different city. Having said that, the latter walk is a very nice one as much of it is towpath).
    I can work from home sometimes though...

    Yes so can I and I must admit I enjoy my walk to work then. It has three points.

    1) Kettle <img src=/S/coffeetime.gif border=0 alt=coffeetime width=32 height=48>
    2) Fridge <img src=/S/burga.gif border=0 alt=burga width=40 height=15>
    3) Desk <img src=/S/compute.gif border=0 alt=compute width=40 height=20>

    in any order but mainly 1 and 2

    2) Fridge <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
    3) Gerbils <img src=/S/mice.gif border=0 alt=mice width=50 height=25>
