    OL98 and Office Integration (WIN98 2nd ed./OL98)

Is there an easy way to integrate an excel spreadsheet into an Outlook form. We want to be able to show a schedule of available rooms for scheduling meetings in outlook. The sched of avail rooms is an excel spreadsheet. I would like to show it on an available page on the form.

    Hi Justme,

Outlook 98 has Office Document Forms that allow you to attach Word documents and Excel Spreadsheets. In Outlook go to the File menu, click New and then click Office Document, it should give you a choice of Word Document or Excel Spreadsheet.

Also, in an email (which you could save as a form) insert a object, by either selecting the insert object menu item, select from file and tick "link", or copy and pasting as link from excel This will insert the spreadsheet into the email, and will update from the spreadsheet whenever you look at the email.
You will also be able to edit the sheet from the email as well.

    Hope this helps

    Hello,

What we do is to put the Excel spreadsheet in a mail form as described above, but in addition, put the form in Public Folders and set permissions in the Public Folder so that only those people that need it can see and those who need to modify it can do so.
