Bring in graphs from Excel (Word 2003)

    Hello,
    My question is

Is there an easy way to bring excel graphs into word, where they still have the abiltiy to function like they do in excel, I have Copy and Pasted them into word but they become a picture.

I have about 12 graphs that Iwould like to put in a printable Word document.

    Thank you!

Copy a chart to the clipboard in Excel.
Click in the place in the Word document where you want the chart.
    Select Edit | Paste Special.
Select Microsoft Excel Chart Object in the list box.
If you want the chart to be linked to the chart in the Excel workbook, click Paste Link.
    Then click OK.

OK sorry Iwas doing the paste wrong, I am getting the proper list in the paste special
    thanks for you halp,

On question is that every time Ipaste a graph in Word the enable macros warning pops up is this normal?

and also I must set the Format object Layout to Tight on each graph, Just wondering if there is a way of not having to do this each and every time

I don't get a macro warning in Word 2002, even if the Excel workbook contains macros. Perhaps this is new in Office 2003.

You can specify how objects are pasted:
    - Select Tools | Options...
    - Activate the Edit tab.
    - Click the dropdown list labeled "Insert/paste pictures as:"
    - Select the preferred option.
    - Click OK.
