    Date Function (2000 SR-1)

I created a database that uses the Date() function to automatically fill in the date on various form controls. I gave the database to a client that recently installed Access 2000 and the Date() function does not work. I get a Name? error in the controls. The Now() function works, but I'd rather not have to change them all, plus I'm curious why the Date() function would not work. It works fine on my machine.

    Thanks!

This sort of behaviour occurs in Acc '97 (don't know about A2K) often related to broken or missing References. You might want to check that.

The same problem occurs in Access 2000. This has always been caused by a missing reference in my experience.
