I presume you mean on an envelope. To do that, click on Tools / Envelopes and Labels then, if you click on the Labels tab there is a checkbox about halfway down the dialog to mark to include. This setting will hold if and/or when you switch to envelope.

First, bookmark the zip code (plus 4 or not) and call it something like zip. For those who don't know how to create a bookmark, select the desired text, then click on Insert / Bookmark and type the desired name and click Add. Then put your cursor where you want the barcode (above the address, I presume) and click Insert / Field On the left, should be defaulted to All and on the right side in alpha order, locate and click once on BarCode. This will insert the field name in the box. Position your cursor after the word in the box and type the name of your bookmark. Now, click on the options button and add the /b (telling it to use the bookmark source) and /u (indicating it is a US Postal code). Click OK twice. That should do it.

You don't have to be very picky about the area bookmarked for this either! The envelope wizard sure isn't. It seems that so long as the bookmark includes the zip code and nothing else that looks like it might be a zip code, it works. This is true even with a five-digit street address included in the bookmark!
