    Print Layout View (2003)

My print layout view is driving me mad. The view onscreen only shows the document between the top and bottom margins, not the whole document as in earlier versions of Word. This only applies to new documents, not doicuments created in earlier versions. There must be a way of correcting this but I cannot find it.
    Can someone please help?
    Thanks.

Move the mouse pointer to just below the ruler (or if you don't display the ruler, just below the toolbars). The mouse pointer should change to a tiny picture of two pages, with arrows in them, and the tooltip should say "Show White Space". Click once to show the top and bottom margins. (Clicking a second time would hide them again).

Alternatively, select Tools | Options..., activate the View tab (if necessary) and tick the check box "White space between pages".

Thank you HansV, my sanity is restored, and it was so easy.
