    MP3/WMA/CDA Conversions

    I know there are a lot of conversion programs out there...

    Anybody got any idea as to which is "best"? Obviously it's a bit of a preference issue, but....

    I need something to be able to take various types of audio files and burn them on to CD's, preferably in CDA format. My daughter's got a bunch of recording vocals she wants on CD, so, for some unknown reason, she's asked me.

    So I came here.

    I've been looking, and they all say they are the best...

    Suggestions? Price is an issue, but not a lot of one, so, for a fairly reasonable price...

    I recently got pointed to this Quintessential by <!profile=MarkJ>MarkJ<!/profile> (I think). I have used this to convert CDA to MP3. It is <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> and is absolutely brilliant. It has a series of plug-ins also <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> that you can use to adapt the format you need.

    I recently bought an MP3 player and have found it invaluable.

    Someone here also recommeded Audacity to me to convert my audio cassettes to a format (MP3 or WAV) that could then be burned to CD. I used it quite a bit since then and find it's great, especially for cleaning up and/or enhancing areas that are less than acceptable.

    Oh yeh, it's <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15>

    I can't vouch for the program (never used it) but AV MUSIC MORPHER does the audio to CDA conversion and burns to CD. You can download the <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> version here.
