    Printing emails (2002)

We have a mix of OL 2002 and OL 2003 users - when we print an email from OL 2003 that has an attachement it prints the attachment name and information in the header of the email. When we do the same from OL 2002 it leaves the attachment information out. We cannot find away to make it do this - so my question is: Is this by deisgn or am I missing a trick? If so how can I make OL 2002 print the information similar to OL 2003.

This is a known bug for e-mails in HTML format in Outlook 2000, 2002 and 2003 before SP1. See Attachment placeholder does not appear in printed HTML e-mail messages. A workaround is to edit the e-mail and to switch to plain text, but of course, you'll lose all HTML formatting.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

The problem resides on the users who are using OL 2002 - sadly the fix suggested does not seem to work. I have tried it for a user with OL 2002 SP3 and it does not fix the problem.

We will in the end upgrade the user to Office 2003 to fix the problem.
