    Creating blank, numbered pages (2003 (SP1))

    Fellow loungers,

    I'm afraid I don't master macros as well as I should or the following problem wouldn't be one: I have to prepare a document of approximately 150 pages in which photocopied versions of articles will be presented. Because these articles each have separate pagination, a master pagination needs to run from one end of the document to the other. In other words, I need to print approximately 150 numbered and blank pages in word onto which I will then glue my documents and then use as the master document for photocopied versions. Complicated, I know, but I have no other real choice. How do I get word to print 150 pages (with page numbers (upper right hand corner) efficiently?
    Many thanks in advance for your help.

    You could create a blank document with a page number in the upper right corner, then run the following macro:

    Sub CreatePages()
    Dim n As Integer, i As Integer
    ActiveDocument.Content.Delete
    n = Val(InputBox("How many pages?"))
    For i = 1 To n - 1
    Selection.InsertBreak
    Next i
    End Sub

    If you wish, you can use the attached document. Make sure that macro security is not set to High. You can run the macro by selecting Tools | Macro | Macros...
