Graphic Filters? (MSO 2003)

I've done something, and I'm not sure what.

Suddenly (haven't ever noticed this before) graphics contained in emails are coming up (or not) with the "x" in a box instead of the pic.

I attached a copy of one, saved as an "txt" so that it would be safe to attach. It is in fact an htm file.

It shows me no graphics within Outlook, or outside. Clicking the box takes me to the link, so the connection is active.

What setting have I fouled up here?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

If you right click within the boxes, do you get an "offer" from Outlook to download the pictures into their placeholders? You may have changed something under the nest of dialogs under Tools | Options | Security | Change Automatic Download Settings, or possibly something in your IE security settings. (I don't dare change mine. <img src=/S/laugh.gif border=0 alt=laugh width=15 height=15>)

    John:

No messages to download pics etc...

Thought maybe it could be a server issue, but the links are active, and it's more than just one site's links...

    Harrumph...

Some of the URLs in the <img> tags have been altered by a filter:

However, the others look normal. Is this spam? Possibly the site has been blocked.

    Jefferson:

Uh, ... duh ... maybe if I turn off the "No Spy Mail" that runs in Outlook..."

Funny, I've used this for some 3 years Belshe Software and never had this issue...

Oh well, I'll disable it for the time being, and resolve other issues first.

    Thanks, Jefferson.
