Free Serif software - another catch

For those who use or thinking about using FreeSerifSoftware (very good software IMHO) this alt.comp.freeware thread will be of some interest. It's well known that Serif does send a degree of advertising spam, so some use a throwaway e-mail address to get the registration key(s). Something I didn't know though, is (direct information from Serif) - "The registration key is currently hard drive specific, so installing on another computer requires a new registration key."

Just something else to be aware of.

On the other hand it means you don't need a separate registration key for a new Serif program - I use the same one for PagePlus and WebPlus for example. And I second the view that they do some good software. PagePlus for instance can do a lot more than MS Publisher.
