Page Not Found (6.0 SP2)

I don't know if this is an IE problem or a Windows problem but I just purchased a new computer with WinXP. I know XP has more security features than my old reliable 2000 but I can't seem to get all my usual web pages to fully load. I will get a message in a portion of the screen that says either "Page not Found" or "Action cancelled". These are all sites that I have visited on a regular basis. Now to be fair, I can still manage to view what I need but I just find these side messages annoying and don't know why they are popping up. Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

Those "side messages" are most likely ads & popups that are being blocked. Saves time loading the page and you don't need them.

Thanks Doc. I'll do my best to ignore the "page not found" stuff
