It would be helpful if you indicated what kind of problem you had. My problem was I didn't know what MS MELL was before I Googled for it!

Perhaps you'd get more specific replies if you told us what problems you have while installing (error messages?).

Is KWSupport : Tips to installing MELL - Microsoft e-Learning Library helpful?

MELL - Microsofts elearing courses. I am trying to install them to our Virtual Campus server, windows server 2003, for reasons that I am not sure of we run inetpub from drive d: - so when I install the software to d:inetpubwwwrootMELL it does all it should except create the defualt.htm file in d:intepubwwwrootMELLeng - as well as not create this file it does not create another file needed to run the software successfully.

Are you sure the account being used to install the software has rights to do whatever is necessary in/to the folder? Most likely it needs to be a member of the administrator group.

    Re: Microsoft MELL

I am installing the software as Domain Administrator - interestingly the software creates the SQL DB and copies/installs all of the files except fo these two crucial ones...

Is there any documentation that tells you installation requirements and/or restrictions?
