    Dual monitor alignment (XP Pro)

I have my laptop on my left and my flatscreen on my right and need it to be that way. The flatpanel is designated 1 and laptop 2. No matter what I fiddle with, I can't get the mouse to cross on the adjacent edges of the screens. Instead, I have to go off the outside edge of one to the outside edge of the other. I fixed this once but cannot remember what I did. Which means I was clicking everything that moved and wouldn't know anyway. Any ideas to eliminate this annoying issue would be appreciated.

As you look at the flat panel, do you mean that you have to go to the right edge of the flat panel to be able to get to the left edge of the laptop?

On your display properties you should see the monitors like this. You can drag Monitor 2 to any position you want, to control which edges are adjacent. In this example I have the bottom left of screen 2 touching the centre right of screen 1.

(If you don't know which is Screen 1 and 2 then click the Identify button)

Thanks, that worked. I had tried it earlier but it didn't seem to. OK now.
