    Macro Errors (Word 2000)

    I having trouble with the attached document. I am trying to add some new print macros called Print_MFD which contains 5 different print options. Each time I try and run them I get a macro security setting error. Can anyone help?

    I don't see anything special in the macros, and insofar as I can test them, they run without errors. Do you have problems with any of the other macros in the template?

    Re: Macro Errors (Word 2000)

    The rest of the macros work ok - its only the new print ones that dont work. I get an error that says "the macro cannot be found or has been disabled because of your Macro security settings".

    I get the same error when I try it on other users machines as well.

    The macro security settings in the document are set to low. I have also made sure that the document is a trusted source. Nothing seems to make it work.

    Thanks

    Try deleting the toolbar buttons and creating them anew. Your macros work fine for me, but the buttons somehow don't. When I create new buttons, they work fine.

    Re: Macro Errors (Word 2000)

    Can I bring this one up again. It has all been working fine up until today. Someone in the office tried to use Print_deed on a specific document and got a runtime error - attached. If you try another document with Print_deed it seems to be ok.

    Can it be that specific documents may cause problems? What sort of things should I be looking for?

    Thanks

    Re: Macro Errors (Word 2000)

    The Print_deed macro contains these lines:

    .FirstPageTray = 257
    .OtherPagesTray = 257

    The other macros use generic values such as wdPrinterMiddleBin, this one uses the literal value 257. This value is specific to a certain printer. If the document has been set up for a different printer, 257 may not be a valid tray identifier.
