    ISERROR ?? (Excel 2002)

    Hi

    =IF(NSI="Yes",0,IF(B7=0,,IF(L7>0,G7*L7,G7*M7)))

    This returns #VALUE, IF NSI is blank, B7 = 0 AND L7 = 0 I am trying to eliminate the #VALUE.

    =IF(ISERROR(NSI="Yes"),"",IF(B7=0,"Enter Code","",IF(L7>0,G7*L7,G7*M7)))

    Many Thanks

    Braddy

    In IF(B7=0,,IF(L7> ... you don't specify a return value for if B7=0.

    Hi Hans

    In IF(B7=0,,IF(L7> ... you don't specify a return value for if B7=0.

    Are you reffering to this IF(B7=0,"Enter Code","",

    Sorry if I don't understand.

    Thanks

    Re: ISERROR ?? (Excel 2002)

    The formula in your first post is
    <code>
    =IF(NSI="Yes",0,IF(B7=0,,IF(L7>0,G7*L7,G7*M7)))
    </code>
    There are 2 commas after B7=0, not "Enter Code".

    Re: ISERROR ?? (Excel 2002)

    Hi Hans

    That is the current formula that I am trying to amend so as not to result in #VALUE, the other one is my attempt to elimate the #VALUE,

    My apologies for not making myself clear.

    Thanks

    There must be something you haven't told us, for unless one of the contributing cells contains an error, there is no reason for the formula to return an error.

    Re: ISERROR ?? (Excel 2002)

    Hi Hans

    My sincere apologies B7 contains a number so when I change it to B7 > 0 I get the blank cell appearance that I am looking for. <img src=/S/blush.gif border=0 alt=blush width=15 height=15>

    Many Thanks
