    switch user problem (express 6)

My wife and I share a Windows XP Pro computer. she uses Outlook, and I use Outlook express. We each have our emails configured and have our own log on identities.
Each time we switch between users and open up our respective email programs I get the pop up saying that Outlook Express is not your current default email program, do you want to change it? (something like that). My wife gets the same pop up when she opens Outlook.
Somehow these two different email settings by two different users are affecting each other.
any ideas on how to prevent this?

Another good reason not to use "Switch User", Log out of the one Windows User account and log in to the other.

Yes, this takes more time and you must shut down all open programs, but you will not have the problems that come with switching users.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
