Can't load some threads

I have had this problem, occasionally before with other threads.

At this time, if I go to the Hardware forum and click on the most recent thread ( It's Alive!!!! ), I get disconnected from the Lounge and dumped out right back to my Desktop. It happens on all 3 posts in that thread, yet other threads are fine without any problems.???

What happens if you delete your lounge cookies and start over?

Yor preferred browser of choice is IE6 isn't it? Have you got any specific security settings or firewall settings that maybe getting upset?

PS I seem to remember something about a series of explanation marks can cause a problem....I'll get onto the Mods and see what can be done to test the theory

Yep, tried that and still the same thing, ONLY on that particular thread, in that forum.

No particular security settings different than usual.
Like I said, it ONLY happens on that thread. ALL others are fine.
You may be on to something with that series of exclamation marks doing something, I can't recall just what it was though.

I have removed the exclamation marks from the subject of the two replies in that thread (but not from the original post). Can you open either of those replies now?

That did it all right! The other two following posts worked fine, When I tried the original with all the !!!!, it bombed out on me.

Any idea just what causes that?

I don't know why the exclamation marks cause your browser to crash, but I have now removed them from the first post in that thread too.
