What goes wrong? If I uncomment the lines that check for duplicates, they work for me...

    ... Hummmmm....
Import file withou line to ceck dupes, and see into column F, all is correect.
In column F you must have a value similar(this value are correct):
    PREL. CARTA BNL
    PREL. ALTRE BANCHE
    PREL. TOPCARD CLASS.
    PREL. TOPCARD PREM.
    PREL. VISA ALTRI
    PREL. EC/MC
    PREL. CIRRUS
    PREL. TOPCARD BUSIN.
    PREL. CARTA BNL
    PREL. ALTRE BANCHE
    PREL. TOPCARD CLASS.
    PREL. VISA ALTRI
    PREL. EC/MC
    PREL. CIRRUS
    PREL. TOPCARD BUSIN.

uncomment the index routine and see the difference now....

I'm confused now. Do you want to prevent duplicates in column M or don't you?

If you want to include column F in the index, use

    Index = VAR_INDICE_TAB & "-" & var_TERM & "-" & var_DESCR

    and

    ELENCO.Range("M" & CONT).Value = UCase(VAR_INDICE_TAB) & "-" & var_TERM & "-" & var_DESCR
