    Tables in doc (Word 2000)

    I've been asked to remove some lines and edit a Word document.
    The attached png shows what I need to remove. How do I do this ?

    Hi Dave,

    If you click in a cell, you can select Table | Delete | Rows or Table | Delete | Columns to delete the entire row or column containing the cell.

    The Format | Borders and Shading dialog lets you add or remove lines around cells. Make sure that the 'Apply to' dropdown reads Cell.
