I just realised that there are 2 updates and the one you get depends on what browser you are using to view the update page.

There is one update for Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape, Opera, and CompuServe. The second update is the activeX control update for IE and this one gives the option of installing the Yahoo toolbar as well (default is to install the toolbar)

For those who use IE and an alternative browser it is something to bear in mind.

Wow, yes, my IE ActiveX player was version 7,0,19,0.

Edit: You can ignore the following. This was a result of having a version 7 player and is not applicable if you have a version 8 player.

There seem to be different downloads. This first two links refer to Yahoo! but the third and fourth ones don't (thoses were from clicking links on the lower part of the Macromedia.com home page):

    http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/downlo...=ShockwaveFlash (from Google search)
http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/downlo...=ShockwaveFlash (from menu bar Downloads>Get Flash Player)
http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/downlo...mp;promoid=BIOW (home page, button to "Get")
http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/downlo...mp;promoid=BIOX (home page, text link to "Download")[/list]Added: Here's a "version tester" page: http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledg...cfm?id=tn_15507
