Firefox and Plugins (Win XP MCE)

A few days ago I helped my son setup a new Dell computer, including the latest Firefox, and all is glorious in his world, so far! However, one thing I did NOT spend any time on is plugins and now he's in need. He wants to visit a web site from the NCAA/CBS television where they will be streaming video from the NCAA tournament games - but no dice. Doesn't work. Needs one (or more?) plugins...

I found this link by searching this forum. Does this look like the best place to go to get central control for finding the latest plugins? Plugins :: Find Plugins

PS Since it's such a new and rare animal: MCE = Media Center Edition (2005)

    Hi Al

Some Mozillazine knowledge base articles that should help with installing the various media player plugins.
    RealPlayer
    Quicktime
    Windows Media Player

For some trouble shooting - Video or audio doesn't play

Plus another plug-in site for Mozilla - Mozilla Plugin Support on Microsoft Windows

Thank you very much, Tony. That 'troubleshooting' link will probably prove very helpful - there's a lot of info about filename-extensions there that I didn't realize!

How about Firefox Essentials: 10 Must-Have Extensions? Nice little roundup there.
