    taskbar source folder (Windows XP SP2)

    I need to access the source folder for the taskbar in order to delete a defunct shortcut that hangs the OS when clicked on in the Taskbar.

    The task bar itself does not have a source folder. Do you mean the Quick Launch toolbar? That corresponds to

    Cocuments and Settings<username>Application DataMicrosoftInternet ExplorerQuick Launch

    Note: Application Data is a hidden folder, so you must show hidden files and folders in Windows Explorer to see it.
