    Access 2000 - 2003 Compatibility (2000 & 2003)

I have an Access database that was developed in Access 97 and is being used in Access 97 and 2000. One client is now planning to upgrade to Access 2003. I have the impression that Access 2000 and Access 2003 are compatible but I don't have Access 2003 yet to confirm that. Are there any potential problems with this upgrade?

    Thanks,
    Bill

Security is tighter in Access 2003, and there are some new features (but not al that many).

Like Access 2000, Access 2003 can open Access 97 format databases; you can edit, enter and delete data but not change the design of database objects or create new objects. Working with an Access 97 format database in Access 2000 or 2003 is relatively slow.

Access 2003 is fully compatible with Access 2000 format databases - you can edit, enter and delete data, and also change the design of database objects and create new objects.
