    Key Combination

There is a key combination or key and mouse combination which will enlarge or shrink text but I can't remember what it is. Does anyone know the combination to do this as you are reading a note?

    Thanks.

If you have a wheel mouse, press the Ctrl key and roll the wheel forwards or backwards.

Not sure what software is involved. The steps could be different depending on the program.

If you're using Firefox (and I think the same works in IE and other browsers), holding Ctrl and pressing the + and - keys will adjust the font size. In the Lounge, you can also choose a different font size by switching skin.

    Gosh

I just tried Ctrl plus + and -

    1) In Outlook 2003 and it expands and contracts the treeview of my inbox posts <img src=/S/cool.gif border=0 alt=cool width=15 height=15>
    2) In IE it does not increase or decrease font size although (ctrl+ scroll does)
    3) Word ctrl plus + does nothing but Ctrl plus - creates a continuous line
    4) Excel Delete cells of your choice
    5) Powerpoint---nothing

    Re: Key Combination

I don't get this one to work at all. Even if I hold the Ctrl and Shift key so that I may hit the + key it doesn't work for me in IE.

    jscher2000,

The software I use for emails is Outlook 2000 & 2003. The Ctrl plus the mouse wheel does the trick for me in those two pieces of software.

    Re: Key Combination

Ctrl + or Ctrl - does nothing at all for me in Outlook 2003 even if I hold the Shift key with the Ctrl key in order to get to the + key.

    Re: Key Combination

    hlewton,

The + and - keys that are being referred to are the ones next the numeric keypad, not the ones above the letters.
