    Duplicate menu items Win98 SE

What would cause right-click icon menus to have duplicate items and just-plain-wrong ones?

Registry has been restored in DOS. Microsoft has no ideas...

Could you give us a partial screen shot of your problem? That would certainly help me understand your problem.

Actually, I think I've been able to do it with just the print screen button.

Then paste it into paint, and clip the un-needed portion to keep the size down.

That's the way I do it...

Okay more info received (sigh) - he upgraded from Win98 to Win98SE (I know there are problems with that) and partitioned his drive with Partition Magic (another friend had different problems after doing that!).

Here's a sample list - the duplicates are the same each time:
    Open With...
    Quick View
    Open With...
    OPEN
    Quick View
    Quick View Plus
    Quick Print
    add to Zip
    add to Eudora.Zip
    -----------------
    Scan with Norton Anti-Virus
    ------------------
    Clean Sweep
    -----------------
    Quick View Plus
    Quick Print
    ----------------
    Delete with Wiping
    -----------------
    add to Zip
    add to Eudora.Zip
    Zip & E-Mail Eudora.Zip
    Scan with Norton Anti-Virus
    ------------------
    Send To
    -------------------
    Cut
    Copy
    -------------------
    Create Shortcut
    Delete
    Rename
    ------------------
    Properties

Looks like Eudora, Norton, & QuickView have the duplicates. I'm going to continue to search but if you have any suggestions/solutions, I'd appreciate it!
