    Password Manager

Not sure where, but recently I read Woody's recommendation for a password manager. He stated he used Roboform (www.roboform.com). My only concern about that is that it monitors activations--too many and it shuts you off. My concern is that if Roboform is by a company that doesn't last, after a while you may have too many activitations and there won't be someone around to help out. Is this concern legit or is it off base. Also, I don't know enuf about algorithms to know if their's is good or not. Any other password managers-I sure need to get mine organized. Thanks in advance.

    Re: Password Manager

You could try the <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15>ware ones listed under Password Manager. Most of the algorithms used by such utilities are inherently secure; but weaknesses can appear if they're not securely implemented by the programmer. The two here come highly recommended through peer review.

If you pay for Roboform Pro you won't have the issue.

    Re: Password Manager

I use both KeePass (at work) and Any Password (at home). I highly recommend both. They are robust freeware programs that do their jobs perfectly. KeePass offers more features and is more refined, while Any Password may be a bit simpler to use. Use either program and you'll be satisfied.
