    HLookup or Match (XP)

    I have a CSV file that I import from another software. One of the columns has an attorneys name - there are several records with the same attorneys name. I would like to add 2 new columns that contain their email address and phone number so I can use in a mail merge.

    How can this best be handled? There are about 25 attorney names and 3000 records. Basically, when it sees an attorneys name, I want to add the 2 columns of info automatically. Macro, HLookup, Match. I'm not sure how to approach since there 2 columns to add.

    It depends on the structure of the table in which you want to look up the e-mail address and phone number. If this is a straight table with the attorney name in the 1st column you can use a VLOOKUP formula for the e-mail address and another VLOOKUP formula for the phone number.
