    Template help popup (Excel 2003)

I have an Excel template that whenever I open it, it insists on opening a right-hand sidebar for Template Help and tries to connect to MS Office Online. I believe the original template was built upon something found in the MS online templates.

But I don't need any help or any template updates and this is very annoying. But I can't figure out how to stop Excel from doing this. Anyone have any ideas?

    Select Tools | Options...
    Activate the General tab.
    Click Service Options...
In the Category pane, select Online Content.
Clear the check box labeled 'ShowTemplate Help automatically when available'.
    OK your way out.
