    Email button (2003)

    I had help recently with exporting a report straight to an excel workbook <post#=536776>post 536776</post#>, by means of a button the toolbar. How can I put a button on the toolbar that will run a command?

    Select Tools | Customize...
    Activate the Commands tab.
    If you want to add a built-in command to a toolbar, browse through the various categories in the list on the left, and the corresponding commands in the list on the right. When you have found the one you want. drag it to a convenient location on a toolbar. There are special categories for forms, reports, macros etc.
    If you want to execute a user-defined function, select the File category and drage the Custom button to a convenient location on a toolbar. Then right-click the new button and set its name (caption), button image and style. To set the action, select Properties from the right-click menu, and enter the name of the user-defined function in the On Action box. You can also use

    =MyFunction()

    where MyFunction is the name of the function.
    Finally, OK your way out.
