WBS Decimal Removal (2003)

    Is there a simple formula to remove decimal points from a long WBS number? Here is what I want:

    1.2.1.6 --> 1216
    1.3.10.14 --> 131014

    We use these for converted charge numbers in one system and collect them as WBS numbers from several contractors.

    With a WBS in A1:

    =SUBSTITUTE(A1,".","")

    The result will still be text. If you need a numeric value:

    =VALUE(SUBSTITUTE(A1,".",""))

    Perfect as usual. And less than 10 minutes! I think you would get fired if you worked at Microsoft as they would think something is wrong with you.
