Track Changes, Print Document (Office 2003)

    Can anyone shed some light?

My understanding is, if a user has "track changes" on and they wish to print the document without showing the changes appearing, they would go to the print dialog box, under "Print What", select Document. In my environment, the document still prints with the track changes. Am I missing something?

    Cheers

What happens if you first set the view to "Final", instead of "Final showing Markup"?

I've noticed that there are a number of options available, within the Print Dialog Box, under Print What which apears not to print as expected when selected. There is the option to print Document, Document showing markup, List of markup, Styles etc, when selected they all appear to print the whole document.

I am now unsure whether there is an issue with the print options available, in that they disregard the options under Print What. Are you familiar with this?

    Many thanks

I'd never used those options before, but they do work exactly as expected for me. Print Document sends the final document to the printer, Print Document showing markup sends the document with all changes visible.

Ah ..... this may indicate that there is an issue with the build or our printer setup. I will need to investigate further.

    Many thanks
