Roundup (2000)

Greetings,
Did some searching but no luck.
I want to "roundup" a number so I can multiply it by a fixed amount.
I enter into a field 2.4, I want this to stay fixed. In another field I want to roundup this number and multiply it by $50.00 and come up with the number, $150.00
Thanks for your assistance.

Try this as a calc for the target field:

Target field = Fix(Number + 0.99) * $50

This is good for a 2 dec place control.

If all your numbers are non-negative, you can also use

=-Int(-[FieldName])*50

Int always rounds down, so if FieldName = 2.4, -FieldName = -2.4 and hence Int(-FieldName) = -3 and -Int(-FieldName) = 3
