Export to Excel file (2003 SP2)

I sent a runtime database to a Vendor who has office 2000 standard. The database exports a table to an Excel spreadsheet for return to me. When the Vendor tries to run the export procedure she receives an error that the file cannot be saved. Is this a version conflict? If so what are my options?

It is always dangerous to develop a database in a later version than the one the user has. VBA references tend not to be adjusted correctly. You should test a copy of the database thoroughly on a machine with Access 2000, then send that copy to the user without opening it in a later version in between.

Actually, I was able to test the runtime on a machine with office 2000 pro, but not with office 2000 standard. That's how I found out the runtime disabled Access 2000 so every database opened in runtime. There was a service patch that fixed that.

Gee whiz...I replied to myself. Fortunately, it was a simple error made when the folder was created. It works fine.
