Data Validation and Deleting Rows (2002)

Question. I have spreadsheet with data validation in several columns. I am wanting to clean up and add rows, delete rows, etc. When I do this, it causes the data validation to appear in almost every column - even unintended columns.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Here is a sample of the worksheet. For instance, if I go to row 69 and insert, it causes data validation to show up everywhere.

Is there a way to prevent this?

The worksheet is corrupt. Try copying the used range (not the entire sheet) into a new workbook. The problem shouldn't occur there.
