    Form (2003)

    When have a simple form setup where people can enter requests for the analyst to do. When someone enters their information is there someway to know when that data was entered(some type of trail)?

    You can add a DateCreated and (if you like) DateModified field to the table, both of type Date/Time.
    Set the Default Value of the DateCreated field to =Now()
    If you also add a DateModified field, put code in the Before Update event of the form:

    Private Sub Form_BeforeUpdate(Cancel As Integer)
    Me.DateModified = Now
    End Sub

    You can put text boxes bound to DateCreated and DateModified on the form, but you should set their Locked property to Yes, so that the user cannot modify them.
