    Virus Alert

While viewing a web page using IE5.5 Norton Auto-Protect reported that C:windowssystemwininit.exe was infected with the W32.HLLW.Bymer virus. It could not be repaired so I clicked STOP then rebooted.
I checked Windows Explorer and found there was no wininit.exe file in the windowssystem folder but that it appeared in the windows folder itself. I ran a virus check on it and found no virus.

    Can anyone comment?
