    Missing Discount (Excel 2002)

    Hi

    Please see attached, I have two indentical formulas one works one does not.

    Any ideas please.

    M7 is blank and M8 isn't. Your formula checks if the cell in column M is blank.

    Are you wanting to keep M7 empty? If you put a 0 into it, the formula works out the discount. If you want M7 to be empty, you may need to instruct the formula to use a 0 to calculate correctly!

    Thanks for the prompt reply from You and Rudi.

    In the master sheet Column N is a lookup and the data that would have produced a 0 was missing and the zeros were hidden so I did not see it was missing.
