    RE: Dropped connection

I had a Netgear Wireless USB adapter and when connected to the router i had a continuous connection. I have replaced the adapter with newer Netgear adapter and now when the computer remains inactive for a while (20 minutes?) the connection is dropped. Is here a setting anywhere that I can change which will enable a continuous connection, as previously? Thanks.

Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Computer Management....

    (Assuming this is XP.)

    or Start > Run > devmgmt.msc > OK
if you don't have the Administrative Tools menu enabled.
