Export Rpt as formatted (Access2000 SR1)

We are using Access 2000 SR1.

I have a report that I run weekly that I need to send to my manager.
I have everything set up properly to extract the appropriate data, format using borders around the cells (much like an excel spreadsheet), and view the report in Preview mode.

My issue is that no matter how I export the data (even in .rtf format) the formatting of the report is lost--the borders around the data disappear, except for .xls. I would have to reformat in Excel to get it to look even remotely similar to the Access report. I want to be able to save the report as shown in the Preview window, just as if I were printing it out. Is this possible? If so, how?

Thanks for any and all assistance.

Have you tried outputing the report in Snapshot Format? However, your manage would have to have snapshot view; but you can get this from Microsoft site if you don't have it.

    Mark,

Yes, that works just fine for viewing but he will need to cut and paste certain fields from the report to other applications.

Do you have any other suggestions?

    Thanks

Nothing else, other than to give him some sort of additional output he can use as input to these other applications.

The only other option is to export or link the data to Excel (assuming he has excel).
