Convert Text Numbers to Percentage (Excel 2000>)

    Hi,
I copy large volumes of numbers from SAP and paste them into Excel. Firstly the numbers paste as text, so I type 100% into a blank cell and copy and then select the block of values and paste special and choose Multiply under the Operation of paste special. This converts the text to a number and adds the % to it, but it now has 2 extra 00's included. IE: Orig No. 120 now shows as 12000%

Is there any way to quickly convert text values (say 120 to a number representing 120%) quickly?

    Tx
    Regards,
    Rudi

    Use 1% instead of 100%.
