Fix rotation problem (XP)

When trying to rotate a picture 90 degrees in film strip folder view Windows warned me that if i rotated it, it could screw up the resolution or something and there was a check box in that window that said "please do not ask me this again" with a Yes/No choice... i pressed no and the "please do not ask me this again" option was checked when i did this - but now it never rotates the pictures at all when i click the rotate buttons, which i don't want. i can't find the setting for this in any of the folder options or in the control panel and i've tried restoring the defaults for all of the folder options available. does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

According to Carey Frisch at MCSE:

To reset the message so you are prompted again each time, press and hold CTRL, and then click the Close button.

(This applies to Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and presumably the 'thumbnail' view, but I guess it's the same.)

Thanks Leif (and carey frisch), problem solved. I first tried it in the windows explorer window a few times but it wasn't working so i opened the image & fax viewer and it worked there, as said in the quote. my girlfriend's mom thanks you too.
