    Graphics/Photos in an Email (6.0.2800.1106)

My friend is using Outlook Express (with a Mac) and anytime she forwards a message that has photos or cartoons in the body of the message, once she forwards the text stays where it belongs but the cartoons or photos all get lumped into the empty area at the bottom of the message.

Does anyone know a fix for this as it's driving her crazy and although I keep trying to change settings to see what would happen, I haven't come up with a solution for her yet.

    Thanks.

This sounds like the 'forward' is being sent as plain text, rather than the HTML it was received in.

I don't use OE myself (so I'm just guessing here) but is there a setting to define the format replies and/or forwards are sent in?

Probably a setting for HTML as Lief says, have you looked in Tools>Options and checked these settings (screen shots)

Thanks to all for the replies. HTML was already checked so that didn't help. I've passed on the other suggestions. I also told her to ask Earthlink to help her with that but it's amazing to me the number of people I know who "don't want to bother" the ISP they pay for service every month.

    Thanks again
