    Underscore (XP)

If I hold down the Shift key and the underscore and go half-way across the page, Word very nicely finishes it for me and draws a line all the way across the page from margin to margin. I know there's a name for this but can't think of it right now. In any case, it's a really nice feature except that once it's there, you JUST CAN'T GET RID OF IT. Does anyone know what you have to do to get rid of this line?

    Thanks.

To prevent it from happening in the future, Tools | AutoCorrect Options | Autoformat as you Type | deselect Border Lines.
